Well, we filmed this in one day as that was the only time we spent filming in his short vacation through Terrace. Only got about 7 clips, but I'm thankful for those. I really do hate editing on this computer, and I have a giant headache, strained eyes and back right now, but my biggest problems is trying to edit using my computer. It is incapable of hd footage. I really must say I am loosing my will to edit. (I lost my will to film along time ago) I know that as soon as I get a mac, I will regain all my will and be extremely motivated but as of now its hard to get anything done. I plan on getting a mac and a panasonic gh1 hopefully before (or shortly during) college, which reminds me I still have to apply. I also need alot of money which I dont have, but I am remaining optimistic. That is about it for now. Peace.

Life Update...Sorta.

Thank god I only have one month left on my xbox live gold membership. I cannot wait to get rid of my xbox. Fuck renewing the subscription, I have wasted enough time, and money on this garbage. Sure, I'll miss skate 3, and even playing skate 2, since thats where NBK was born, but oh well. NBK will live on, but my cod:mw2 days will be over!! Sooo Pumped, I never knew how much I would play a game that I absolutely cannot stand. Shits just terrible, who ever thought of the commando perk really needs to fall into a volcano. I find that is the worst part of the game, but I'm not here to complain about shitty ass cod. Instead I am going to look at the positiveness. Getting rid of the xbox will be awesome.

Oh yea, new subject, still trying to gather up alot of the last clips for the dvd. I got a rough outline of the dvd that keeps changing, so im just going to try and get some shots and pretty much look at what I got and see what I can do. It will probably be a huge flop, but eh might as well do something with the footage, help put shit to rest so to say.

"Sunday Soul Boarding" what in the fuck was I thinking with that title?? Then again I always think of really horrible titles for things. I think thats my thing though. Horrible titles, with mediocre editing/footage.

...Anyways, this video is the first edit, I did another edit, but to be honest, I really prefer this one. the beginning is slow yes, but the whole video has a nice relax feel to it. Just a lonely snowboarding going out on a nice afternoon to just to what he does. I really like/dislike some of the shots in the video. I had it fully planned out in my head before shooting. I had to adapt a few shots, and such, but the turn out was a pretty good piece. It isn't mind blowing or anything, but its solid.

Once again a Bombay Bicycle Club song, and the Rider is Troy "Tina" Cheesman.

Hockey is a big thing from where I am from. I love it, the surrounding towns love it, its just simply amazing.

I got asked to film the Junior A cup when it came to our town. I was beyond excited. Excited and very nervous. I never did anything like it before, but believe me I was motivated to showcase what I could do.

I had many ideas rolling through my head on how to do everything, sadly I wasn't really able to fully expand my ideas. Oh well it was still an amazing experience.

Oh, I almost forgot the best part, about 3 days before the tournament kicked off, my computer crashed. thankfully I was able to get it back running, but damn, it was barely surviving. I ended up editing a whole dvd as well as making dvds of the single games without really being able to know what I was editing. The video, and audio playback only played for about 3 seconds before stopping, it was fucking rough.

Overall though, it was an enjoyable learning experience, and hey getting paid to not only watch hockey, but film it, you can't lose.

First off, let me say, this video was not a fully finished piece. I made it so that the 2 people skiing (j dubs, and Steeze) could watch some of the footage we got so far, as well as see abit of my editing knowing that i can put good stuff together.

The titles, some angles, and the quality is pretty wack in some areas, but overall its a decent video.

I think it may mean more to me then any other video I have ever done. I really enjoyed going out there and filming with friends, and having fun and not really knowing what to expect. Thinking back onnit, I would like to get some better angles, plan some shots out more, and even compress it better so it looks more fresh, but really, im actually fine with it. I get this sentimental value that just reminds me how fun it was.

The song is by Bombay Bicycle Club. i suggest you torrent or rapidshare the discography. Good music.
